Most activewear brands don’t realise how easy it is to add a print to their collection. A print takes around a week to produce, against 2 to 3 weeks for a custom dye, the extra cost is small, and it is one of the fastest ways to make a range stand out.
We print digitally on Comfort Luxe and Motion Luxe, both recycled, infusing the dye directly into the fabric. The result is superb colour on fabric with an exceptionally soft hand feel and superior body sculpting, using OEKO-TEX® certified Huntsman dyes that are kind to skin and hold their colour wash after wash. Ideal for every type of activity, from pilates and studio training to gym and everyday wear.
Takes one week to print, and one week to import via our weekly fabric deliveries using our tax-free fabric import facility, the only one of its kind in Bali.
Step 1: Send your artwork
Send your artwork in vector format (AI, EPS, SVG), or as JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD or PDF. Your file needs a minimum 300 dpi resolution and a seamless repeat, with no visible joins at the edges.
We check the file is print-ready, then send back a layout preview showing how the print sits and scales on each style in your range. Our in-house graphics team can assist with all types of artwork, at no extra cost. We do not redraw prints or create them from scratch.
No artwork yet? Shutterstock, Adobe Stock and VectorStock hold large libraries. Try “seamless sport print” or “activewear geometric pattern”, then filter to vector.
Example: As you can see, the print motif below repeats seamlessly both left-to-right
and top-to-bottom. Most but not all, motifs repeat every 15–20 cm.
Step 2: A4 strike-off and approval
Three ways to approve, depending on how sure you want to be.
Note: closely related tones — greens, blues and greys — can shift slightly in digital printing, usually only on prints carrying many colours. A strike-off settles it before bulk.
Step 3: Bulk production
Printing starts at 70 metres per motif, with no upper limit, so order as much as your collection needs. Fabric printed for your order stays with that order and ships complete; it cannot be held back for a later run unless agreed before printing.
Even prints take about two weeks from approval; it only adds approx one week to your delivery date. If you’re on a tight deadline, we sublimate here in Bali on white polyester in 2 to 3 days, for samples and production.
Activewear samples are sewn in plain stock colours while print approval runs alongside, so neither waits for the other. Any colour we hold is available, though black is the usual choice, as it shows up every detail of the construction. Your sample is made in the same fabric as your printed bulk, simply without the motif, so the fit and finish you approve are what production delivers. If you want any samples in your printed fabrics, then select option 3, and allow a bit longer for the printed fabric to arrive.
