Sampling Procedure
Once we’ve reviewed your handover and confirmed payment, our team begins assembling your samples. Your assigned activewear sample merchant will verify your requests before production starts.
Crafting high-quality activewear like leggings and sports tops involves careful attention to detail to ensure a perfect fit and durability. At Activewear Bali, we focus on preventing common issues like ankle bagging and ensuring the stitching around key areas—waist, bust, and butt—is both comfortable and supportive, even after multiple wears. Our meticulous assembly process ensures each piece maintains its shape, providing a consistently flattering and comfortable fit for active lifestyles.
Patterns are created digitally using 2D AutoCAD software for precision beyond traditional methods. These are then transferred to our sample studio, where fabrics are cut, logos are heat-pressed, and each piece is sewn according to your approved handover and instructions.
Depending on design complexity, samples take 2 to 4 weeks, followed by a three-stage quality control process. Once complete, we send front and back photos for approval before shipping via Express DHL, taking 2–4 days.
Notes
Should any sample require some minor adjustments, these are handled using digital software. For any significant discrepancies from the approved handover, remakes are provided at no additional cost.
International Body Sizing
Our sizing and grading follow globally recognized body sizes. For the best fit, please review our size guide before submitting your sample request to ensure our sizing aligns with your target market.
We can modify sizes up or down, including half-size adjustments—such as converting a Medium into a Small.
Sample Fees
Custom Designs:
2 times the wholesale price + a $30 development fee.
Example: A Sports Top priced at $15 would be $30 + $30 = $60
Ready Designs:
2 times the wholesale price, with no additional fees.
Example: A Sports Top priced at $15 would be $30.
Ordering Samples
Ready-to-Order Designs
Ready designs are available for direct purchase from our shop, or you can add their codes to our sample request form. Your selected styles will be produced exactly as displayed in our catalogue, with your chosen colours and prints.
Many brands choose to bypass sampling altogether, saving both time and money—unless a sample is needed for a photo shoot or fitting.
Fabrics
All our activewear fabrics are blended with Spandex or Xtra Life Lycra, offering different compression levels and flexibility for various activities.
- Comfort Luxe: A flexible fabric perfect for gym workouts, Pilates, and athleisurewear, with a soft feel similar to Lululemon fabrics.
- Eco-Olympus: High-compression fabric with Creora® Power-Fit from Korea, designed to enhance endurance and reduce muscle fatigue—ideal for high-intensity training.
Both fabrics have a super soft hand feel and are squat-proof with moisture-wicking and body-sculpting properties.
Selecting Colours
Some example colours we hold in stock.
Samples are most commonly assembled using our stock colours, allowing fabric cutting to begin immediately after payment. Choosing stock colours lets you place a bulk order without delays, avoiding waiting for imported colours, roll-based.
- Stock Colors: Available immediately for faster sample production.
- Imported Colors: Require several weeks to arrive and must be fully used in your bulk order.
Adding Prints
If you’d like to add a print or two, it’s our speciality. We print your motifs digitally on recycled American Nylon and via sublimation on polyester.
Print quality is exceptional and will never fade or lose its original just new look.

Branding

We require artwork in Vector format (EPS, PDF, CDR, or TIFF, 300 dpi) for custom branding such as heat press logos and accessories.
Important: To prevent delays, finalize your artwork and heat press layouts as early as possible.
